Since 2002, aurelis Real Estate Management GmbH & Co KG, one of Europe‘s largest real estate development firms, has been developing and marketing unused property and buildings of German National Rail (Deutsche Bahn AG) all over Germany. The portfolio includes an area of approx. 35 million square meters. One of the first necessary steps was an in-depth analysis of the portfolio‘s potential in many areas. AS+P Albert Speer + Partner GmbH was commissioned with the analysis of a portion of the portfolio (174 projects), including evaluating the current situation and making recommendations for the future. Tear sheets were created to standardize data collected for each project, including information on the area\'s main characteristics, its legal standing, the project\'s objectives, and marketing strategies. Finally, recommendations were made about how to move forward on each project.
