AS+P comes second in ‘South Kiel’ competition

AS+P took second place in the peer review process “Preparation of an urban development and landscape planning draft for ‘South Kiel’”.

The intended urban development of ‘South Kiel’ is currently the largest housing project in Kiel. The peer review process envisages in the planning area around 45 hectares for residential development and 50 hectares as open spaces. The jury’s statement reads as follows: “AS+P uses the existing natural features to structure the housing development in clear quarters in a convincing way. In these quarters the structural density varies, creating independent, in each case mixed units. The urban development concept and system reveal a sound basic order that is extremely variable in terms of the development sequence and adaptability.”

The works will be exhibited from Monday, January 8, 2018 (from midday) until Friday, January 19, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the foyer of Altes Rathaus (entrance on Rathausplatz, Fleethörn 9, 24103 Kiel).
