Team D celebrates Olympic Gold in the German House

After more than one year of planning and preparation - under large participation of the project team from AS+P and PROPROJEKT - the German House in PyeongChang, South Korea, is the central base for the German athletes.

The German House traditionally opens one day before the Olympics. True to the old adage that opposites attract, the design follows the motto `mountain lodge magic 4.0.´ (Hüttenzauber 4.0.) combining the original Alpine hut charm with the convenience and benefits of the digital world.

During the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the German House is the daily meeting spot for around 350 athletes, media representatives, partners and invited guests from business, politics and society. On an area of 1,500 m², the Birch Hill Golf Club has been transformed into a party zone, show and TV stage, communication center as well as a networking platform and media forum.
