Landscape planning for the master plan 23th of July Lake
Bengasi, Libya, 2008 - 2009
- Client: Masterplan Libya
- Timeframe: 2008 - 2009
- Planning Area: 24 ha
- Use: Office / Administration, Mixed-Use, Culture / Education, Retail, Open Space

The goal of the master plan was the development of a new urban quarter which would connect the inner city to the waterfront. These connections are formed by linear landscaped corridors featuring urban squares and attractive nodes. This network of corridors and pathways allows for a high quality transition from the city core to the waterfront. A central square with various amenities will become an attractive focal point of the new mixed- use waterfront development.
