AS+P and City Institute Georgia (CIG) present preparatory land use plan in Tbilisi, Georgia
Since as long ago as 2015 AS+P has been working for City Institute Georgia (CIG) on an update of the preparatory land use plan for the Georgian capital. Together with CIG, AS+P Managing Partner Joachim Schares recently presented the results at an event at the National Library in Tbilisi
The preparatory land use plan is intended primarily to reduce traffic in the city, regulate urban sprawl, and locate areas for development. It also proposes long-term solutions for large brownfields, which the collapse of the industrial sector is resulting in.
Following the presentation, the CIG team and Joachim Schares fielded journalists' questions live on Georgian TV.
