“Stadtquartier Süd” legal zoning plan adopted as a by-law

In March, the municipal council of the town of Neu-Isenburg adopted legal zoning plan 55, which AS+P had drawn up.

For years now the area to the south of central downtown has only to a limited extent been used for commercial purposes – indeed, many of the sites are disused. For this reason, the town of Neu-Isenburg commissioned a master plan which between 2012 and 2014 was gradually developed in a multi-stage planning process with the active participation of the general public.

On the basis of this master plan, AS+P prepared the legal zoning plan for the area, which is bordered by Schleussnerstrasse, Hugenottenallee and Frankfurter Strasse. In future, the mixed-use district will provide housing for some 1,800 residents as well as approx. 2,000 workspaces. Boasting offices and residential buildings, restaurants, cafés, cultural facilities and open spaces, the area will be an attractive place both for residents and visitors. According to the town of Neu-Isenburg the first buildings will be commissioned by 2023. View project
