German Town and Country Planning Code /Land Utilization Ordnance annotated

The third edition of the established reference work “Systematischer Praxiskommentar BauGB/BauNVO” is being published by Bundesanzeiger Verlag. AS+P’s expert Joachim Bothe annotated major paragraphs relating to legal site planning.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team of authors, Bothe, legal site planning coordinator at AS+P, had previously contributed numerous examples and tips from his many years of experience. For the new edition he updated sections 5 and 9 of the German Town and Country Planning Code (BauGB) to include the 2017 amendments to BauGB and the Flood Protection Directive II. Completely updated, the work takes into account the changes to BauGB and the Land Utilization Ordnance (BauNVO) occasioned by the act governing the implementation of Directive 2014/52/EU relating to urban planning legislation and the strengthening of the new coexistence in cities. The stipulations of BauGB are weighted in line with their practical relevance and related topics such as environmental and emission protection. The team of authors favors comprehensible articles that are of practical benefit: application problems are carefully elaborated and feasible solutions presented.
