‘Paddle ahead’ has long tradition at the Frankfurt Museumsuferfest dragon boat race

Since 1964, AS+P has been rooted in the metropolis on the Main River. In its 60-year history, the formerly small planning office has developed into a large interdisciplinary company and international player.

With great pride AS+P looks back onto numerous highlights in our hometown of Frankfurt. Since the 1970s, our architects and planners have been advising and supporting the city on key strategic urban development projects such as the master plan for the Museumsufer or the recently launched high-rise development plan 2024. The office has also been working on general planning at Frankfurt Airport or realized architectural projects such as the Hafenparkquartier. The Holbeinsteg – which marks the finishing line of the annual dragon boat race and allows many visitors to follow the race from above – was also realized by AS+P.

In 2024, AS+P supported the dragon boat festival as a sponsor - and paddled. A motivated, international dragon boat team has been training in front of the skyline on the Main every summer for 14 years and enjoys participating in the annual race. We are delighted to have had over 20 paddlers from our own staff on board again this year and to be able to count on many more colleagues to cheer the team on loudly from the riverbanks! True to the motto ‘paddle ahead’, our sports enthusiasts successfully manoeuvred their boat ‘Albertros’ through four races with a total of ten teams.

ONE TEAM - ONE SPIRIT! Performance, fair play, and team spirit - these are the values that AS+P lives by. We are looking forward to paddling next year again.
