In 2022, AS+P was awarded by Saudi Downtown Company (SDC) with the CMP development for the downtown area of Ha'il.
In line with the Kingdoms Vision 2030 and dedicated to the Kingdoms cities, the Public Investment Fund approved the establishment of the Saudi Downtown Company with a mandate to develop downtown precincts within twelve cities of Saudi Arabia. The primary focus of the SDC is to enhance the lifestyle and local economies for twelve regional cities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, covering over 50 % of the Kingdom’s population.
Active Aja Mountain Resort - exploring the beauty of Hail
Ha'il is in the North West of the Kingdom and the project site is located on the western edge of Ha'il City. It is approximately five kilometers from the historic city centre and lies between the foot of the Aja Mountain range and an adjacent land plot to the east which is currently under construction. Still largely vacant, a mixed-use master plan has previously been developed for this area. Covering over 13 sqkm of land, the plan proposes a range of residential and commercial uses, along with key community facilities including a new hospital.
A Makers place to live, work and play
The project site itself covers over 1,2 million sqm of land. It is a linear, irregular shape that follows an engineered stormwater channel along its western boundary and the shape of a proposed road network on its eastern boundary. It is over 4,6 km in length and ranges from around 10 m to 460 m in width.
