Managing Director Martin Teigeler and Head of Communications Susanne Wellershaus were particularly pleased to receive the coveted accolade from former German Federal Minister of Economics Brigitte Zypries at the awards evening in Frankfurt.

The awards ceremony took place on March 21 as part of a celebratory evening at the headquarters of Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG (DVAG), where Zypries paid tribute to the achievements of the award winners from various industries and also took part in the subsequent panel discussion on the topic. Awards were presented to innovative companies with a clear digitization strategy that pursue sustainability goals and offer attractive working conditions. In an elaborate prior evaluation process, AS+P had been able to successfully convince the organizers, the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND) and publishers “Deutsche Unternehmer Plattform” (DUP), of its readiness for the future.

As an urban planning and architecture practice with over 50 years of experience operating in both the national and international arenas, AS+P relies on end-to-end digitization and maximum security, which enables the interdisciplinary teams to collaborate with clients worldwide at any time. AS+P thus also recognized very early on the great potential deriving from use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and now works with digital models in almost all areas.

At AS+P, the focus is always on people, both in the projects and within the company. Openness, a complete absence of prejudice, and a compassionate and friendly working atmosphere are the pillars of the office culture. Modern leadership and an employee-friendly environment enable the more than 200 employees from over 20 different nations to work together smoothly and to enjoy a socially diverse, inspiring work life.

Knowledge transfer and further training are also high on the agenda at AS+P. Employees can make use of regular training opportunities, for example, through the AS+P Academy.

The company supports the fitness and health of its employees with benefits such as ergonomically optimized workplaces, the option of company bike leasing, memberships of fitness and yoga studios, and communal sports events, as well as vaccination offerings from company doctors.

About the awarding authority: The German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND) supports small and medium-sized enterprises in various sectors by providing impetus and advice. To this end, DIND cooperates with experts from business, science, and politics and uses studies to examine companies for aspects relevant to their future viability.
