The design for the impressive new building at Findel Airport convinced the inter­national expert jury partly thanks to its “floating ring of offices”, which forms the second and third floors, and cantilevers freely on the basis of a steel space frame up to 40 meters over the corners, supported by four access cores. The ICONIC AWARD 2021 is already its second accolade – as recently as October this year the headquarters were presented with the steel construction prize “Prix de Concours Construction Acier 2021” in Luxembourg.

It was back in 2017 that AS+P won first prize in the competition and was therefore commissioned with planning the headquarters by the Société de l’Aéroport de Luxemburg S.A. The building with its office spaces, a nine-meter-high glazed flight simulator hall, conference rooms, training facilities, and a canteen offers space for a total of 375 employees
