In 2024, AS+P Albert Speer + Partner GmbH established its fully owned Saudi subsidiary AS+P International Design LLC, based in Riyadh, as a sign of our decades-long, deep ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and our clear intention to actively shape the country's social and economic development.

Our office in Riyadh offers a broad portfolio of services in the fields of architecture, regional and urban planning, urban development, mobility, as well as open space planning and landscape architecture in closest cooperation with our team of over 220 employees at our headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

In 1977, following the royal decree to move the capital from Jeddah to Riyadh, AS+P was awarded the contract to plan the diplomatic quarter on the outskirts of Riyadh, as well as - in a second project - to design the staff housing for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a separate district. These projects marked the beginning of our success story with numerous award-winning projects that have often been recognised as exemplary buildings under the ‘King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism’.

From the very beginning, AS+P has placed a strong emphasis on contextual architecture and the creation of integrative, green and walkable neighbourhoods offering the highest quality of life for their residents. With our holistic, multidisciplinary approach we have been successfully involved in the development and implementation of countless master plans so far, as well as binding and advisory design guidelines for urban development and architecture at national, regional and local level throughout the Kingdom.
