Alongside modern rehearsal rooms and event spaces for chamber music concerts, the concept also includes a fresh design for the outdoor areas. The modernized guesthouse could in future house a monastery tavern with a beer garden, while the 4,000 sqm monastery garden will provide a local recreation area, and the barn (1936), the heart of the project, is being renovated and converted into a public chamber music hall and concert hall. The design by AS+P slots harmoniously into the historical setting of Kloster Neuburg, combining a clear design language, high-quality materials, and sustainable construction methods. The music campus uses state-of-the-art energy standards such as geothermal energy and solar tiles, and boasts a green open-space concept that respects and develops the historical landscape. The Chamber Music Campus offers young ensembles a unique place to work creatively under optimal conditions, to develop and expand their repertoire, and to grow at the highest artistic level. And it all comes with an inspiring setting, excellent infrastructure, and individual support.
